Please do not left your mess behind....

Dear Little Bulldog,
YC's colleague bought a GR puppy, and the young owner has since been complaining about the puppy pee and poo as and when and where he likes. In fact, you have not been the easiest for us to teach you not to leave your mess around at non designated area. But I am glad you have been a really good boy now, in turn of disposing of your mess.
I saw this outdoor urinal on my way to NAIA during my last Manila trip. It seems funny that there are such kind of facility on the road side, not to mention it is pink (made me think of Nicklas Bendtner's boot). Perhaps too many people like to left their mess behind.
What has been revealed for the last few days made me wrote this post...how true..it is sad that your family has to clean up your mess that was left behind...

A View From The Top

Dear Little Bulldog,
Life can really seem alot more colorful if we view it from a different perspective. I have never thought the common green will look so beautiful.
I need to go back to see life and live life in God's perspective, that will put me back on track...fast.

Cape No. 7 海角七号

Dear Little Bulldog,
I have once again go back to post some thing here. Things need to get back to normal, as life need to go on....
YC and I went to watch a beautiful show, Cape No. 7 海角七号 on our anniversary. Simple story, but with great acting and music. I promised I will one day pay a visit to 恒春in Taiwan. Meanwhile, Punggol Beach has proven to be not too far off from 恳丁from photos...

Biggest Shopping Center in SEA

Dear Little Bulldog,
I have posted enough of the food which I some time feel guilty to eat. Perhaps I should post something else...
The expo that I went, has this Mall of Asia, just next to it. It is suppose to be the world third largest mall, and the largest in SEA. The Philippines malls always put up a security check at the entrance, and caused a long queue during peak hours.b I was there during a Saturday, and there were crowded with people. This mall is situated next to the Bay of Manila, and has a good sea view.
Apart from having an Olympic sized ice skating rink, it is very much the same as malls everywhere in the world (it is indeed huge though).

Lechon, Adobo, Chop Suey...what's that?

Dear Little Bulldog,
Good to be back home after a long trip!
Since you are such a good boy, I will teach you some new vocabulary that I learn in the Philippines.
Follow read after me ... Lechon, Adobo, Chop Suey.
SJ and RM brought me out for dinner in one of the Pinoy restaurant in Megamall. (Pinoy means Filipinos or of the Philippines). They have ordered some signature Pinoy dish for me.
1) Lechon - roast pork. Taste like the german pork knuckle
2) Adobo - Some kind of pork stew. Very much like the chinese dish where pork and black fungus is cook together
3) Chop Suey - Mixed vegetable
These are very delicious food, except that there used too much pork. I have made a point of avoiding pork, beef and mutton in my diet. I just think that we can still survive very well by sparing their lives. Vegetable, fish and seafood will always be my preferred choice.
I hope you can be vegetarian too, but I guess as a wolf descendant, you will have to survive on meat. Adam's descendant has no excuse though.

KFC, Philippines Style

Dear Little Bulldog,
You should be relieved by now to know that I was telling you the truth about your potential replacement. No new puppy arrived yesterday...
On my way to meet a potential customer, we dropped by at a R&R to have quick lunch at KFC. It seems that I always have to eat in KFC whenever I am out of Singapore. Beijing, Sri Sinar, and now Manila.
However, it has proven to be a very decent meal. Instead of the usual potato, they served the chicken with spaghetti or white rice. I had the spaghetti, and it was really quite good. Even better than the spaghetti restaurant I went on Wednesday night. I guessed I am really bored, taking pictures on what I was eating. I now understand why so many blogs post their food pictures. There are so many bored people around, and unfortunately I have become one of them...I hope I will do better...

Go Manila eat Vanilla

Dear Little Bulldog,
You should be having your dinner a little late tonight. YC has gone to your previous home with her colleague to view some puppies. Don't worry, she is not getting another puppy, its for her colleague's son. You are irreplaceable !
I have not eaten any vanilla ice cream since I arrived Manila. It just sound rhyme, so I put it as my title.
Food has not been too fantastic here. I walked to Mall of Asia (the world 3rd largest shopping center) for lunch, and had this tuna steak. It looks like beef steak or pork chop, but it is fish. Come served with white rice and some vege. Not much taste on the tuna. But I finished it anyway...
Had an early off from the expo, and head back to hotel. Again, feeling lonely and have nothing to do, I decided to go for a one-man dinner at the hotel. Ordered this mixed seafood (lapu-lapu fish, shrimps, mussels, squids, white shell) dish. Come served with rice. Given some bread with balsamic vinegar (but no vinegar taste at all). The seafood dish is ok, tomato sauce is quite good. But I can have the same dish in mixed rice stall back home, charging half the price. Not really what I expect from a restaurant. But I finished it anyway...

6 Nights in Manila

Dear Little Bulldog,
Will not be seeing you for 6 days, will be missing you greatly.
I arrived in Manila yesterday evening, and checked into this Linden Suites. It is a big suites! Even bigger than my home. It has a big living room with a big dining table. Two bedrooms and a kitchen. Good for 4 persons to stay in.
But it really does not feel too nice, probably too big. I will just stick with a normal room next time. Nothing beat being at home though. As I am writing this, the room is so quiet and I am alone. Its boring and lonely...A Home does not consider how big or lavish it is, it is the people that is in it. I truly feel it right now.

"Sakura" Orchid

Dear Little Bulldog,
We went to your previous home in Pasir Ris couple of weeks back. Err...not going there to buy you toy, but to check out your enemy species.
The enemy species there looks quite good, but no service at all. That was before the arrival of Marble though...
Instead of buying your enemy species, we found a very nice orchid place just outside of your previous home. The auntie was very helpful and showed us a wide variety of orchids.
We bought this very pretty orchid. Looks like cherry blossom. The Japanese must have like this too.

The Return of Little Bulldog

Dear Little Bulldog,
This blog started because of you. So I think it is appropriate that I started to post some of your photos. I wanted to see if I can find you a new sitter while I am traveling. I hope to be able to find you a good one. Doggiesite seems to have a few options.
Recently feel quite tired. Maybe spent too much time in front of TV. Better start to do some exercise. Let me see if I have time to go for a swim in the new Anchorvalle Swimming complex tomorrow.

Ghost Guy

Dear Little Bulldog,
I know you are a brave boy. Nothing can scare you. But let me introduce to you this Ghost Guy aka 小鬼仔 !
This is the creation of my nephew, and I stole it from him blog. I really like this character, it just made me laugh whenever I see them. I have to say he is a very creative guy, and I am so proud of him !
He is so unlike you. You hardly make a sound, but he has so much to talk.

Cola's enemies revealed!

Dear Little Bulldog,
I am glad you are now getting along well with the two chins. No more scaring them, and made them run up and down. That's a good boy!
Since you have become less hostile with the two chins, I am now safe to show them their real face...
Latte has been very naughty. Always pee pee at the tray, and also on her timothy grass. Marble is a much behaved gal, although she seems fierce the first few nights at our home. But thats because of you scaring her for fun...Marble is so fat that she is clumsy and is not able to flip easily in her sand bathroom. I called her "不能FLIP的MARBLE".

Little Bulldog's Enemies

Dear Little Bulldog,
I know you have been unhappy now that you seemingly have less affection from us because of the two chinchillas. But we want to assure you that we still love you the most, and you are always our favorite!
Latte and Marble have been getting along fine since Marble has been brought in to keep Latte company. They will stick together and it is fun to see them together. No prize from being able to guess correctly which is Latte and which is Marble...

A Stroll in Nanjing Road

Dear Little Bulldog,
I thought I want to share with you my only leisure time that I have during my stay in Shanghai.
I have chosen to stay in Equatorial Hotel from James recommendation. Marriot has been good, but I wanted to stay nearer to a tourist area where I can at least have some leisure time. Equatorial is located near the JingAn(靜安)area where the famous Nanjing Road (南京路)is. I have decided to take an evening off from James, and venture out by myself right after I return from Shijiazhuang.
JingAn has a very upmarket Jiuguang (久光)Shopping Center, where all imported goods are 20-30% more expensive than where I come from. Nothing too interesting. The JingAn Temple is quite nice, but a little too artificial. After taking a short walk, I realize this is not the actual world famous Nanjing East Road. I decided to take a subway train to the Nanjing Walking Street (南京步行街), which is 3 stops away. Nothing much to buy there though, only lots of neon lightings and more expensive shopping centers. One of the most unpleasant experience that I had was the constant harassment by men and women who will just pop up behind you and offering their KTV services. Maybe I look too much like a tourist. Decided that this place is not for me, so I head straight to the train station and went back to my hotel.
The pictures may look pretty, but it is really not a pleasant place to be.

I love Shanghai !!

Dear Little Bulldog,
I have been out of Singapore to China last week, miss you so much...
This trip has brought me to possibly "The Worst Place" I have ever visited in my life.
The destination is Ningjin(寧晉縣). What a deceivingly beautiful name! It is an hour taxi ride from Shijiazhuang(石家莊) which is the capital city of Hebei province(河北省).
When I reached there, the air is so polluted that it smells ammonia everywhere you go. Visibility is no more than 500m. To my horror, the now notorious Sanlu Dairy (三鹿)has a plant in this place. I just wonder if the management of the company feels bad of letting their employees work in such kind of filthy environment.
When I touched down in Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, I took this picture with my Blackberry. For the first time, I have to say "I love Shanghai !!".
Thank God for Your grace in preserving my health and keep me safe during my time in Hebei. The polluted air and dangerous taxi rides will keep me from that place for a long time.

What a relief !!

Dear Little Bulldog,
What a relief after receiving the phone call from NCC on the good report just now. I have been feeling jittery for the past week, and phone ring always give me some worry. When I was about to go to the canteen for late lunch, the phone call came...wow, never felt so happy for a long time !
Thank God, for You are a good and faithful God !
How i come back to blogging is due to my two niece (Lijing) and nephew (Zhihoe) sharing their blog with me. Good to see them growing up to be such excellent girl and boy. So proud of them !
Time to go and give you a hug tonight, just like your teddy bear...

It has been a long while ....

Dear Little Bulldog,
I am surprised I will come back and add post in my blog.
The last 9 months has been a very challenging periods, but God's grace is more than sufficient for me 神的恩典是足够我用。。。
Never in my life i felt so stressful, but never in my life God is so real. When I am weak, He is strong !
